A smooth-skinned variety of peaches, nectarines are similarly flavored but have a slightly higher acidity. They tend to be smaller, firmer and more aromatic than their counterparts. They're best eaten raw to get the most out of their delicate flavor and texture.
Other than color, these are similar to our White Nectarines.
